Works well Review: Consider this the fifth step - Normal rock polishing is done in four stages, but I found that with this one and more polish, the rocks came out quite a bit shinier. Very happy with the results. ## Features - KomeStone's best-selling rock tumblers offer something for everyone: the K1and K1 Pro (2.5 lb capacity, with the Pro featuring a brushless motor), the K2 (3 lb capacity with a noise-reducing cover), and the K4 (dual barrel, 7 lb capacity, brushless motor, and noise-reducing cover). Perfect for both beginners and experienced rock collectors. - We offer 8000 and 12000 grit polishing powders, designed for the final stages of tumbling. Unlike grinding powders, which are used in Steps 1-4 to round the stones, our polishing powders are ideal for achieving a high-gloss finish starting from Step 5. You can choose either grit based on your desired shine, offering flexibility to tailor the polishing process for optimal results. - Designed for Professional-Grade Final Polishing: KomeStone 8000 Grit Aluminum Oxide Polishing Powder is perfect for achieving a high-gloss, mirror-like finish. It’s engineered for the final step in stone, gem, and glass polishing, eliminating fine scratches and enhancing surface clarity. - Suitable for a Wide Range of Materials: Whether you’re working with gemstones, quartz, agate, glass, or other hard surfaces, this polishing powder is versatile and reliable. Use it for both hobby and professional projects to bring out the best in your materials. - Easy Application – Recommended Usage: Mix 2 tablespoon of powder with water to create a smooth paste. Use it in a rotary or vibratory tumbler for 3–5 days, adjusting the polishing time and powder quantity based on the hardness and size of your material. Always ensure the tumbler is running smoothly for optimal results. - Achieve Professional Results with the Right Equipment: Our 8000-grit polishing powder works best with a professional polishing machine. While it can be used in a rotary tumbler, results may not meet expectations. If you're unfamiliar with polishing powders or equipment, we recommend learning more before ordering. If you're experienced and still wish to proceed, please consider carefully before purchasing. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0CRRH1K7J | | Best Sellers Rank | #140,267 in Industrial & Scientific ( See Top 100 in Industrial & Scientific ) #96 in Tumbling Media | | Brand | KomeStone | | Brand Name | KomeStone | | Compatible Material | Glass, Stone | | Customer Reviews | 4.3 out of 5 stars 236 Reviews | | Grit Material | Aluminum Oxide | | Grit Material Type | Aluminum Oxide | | Grit Number | 8000 | | Grit Type | 8000 | | Included Components | 8000 Grit for step 5: Aluminum Oxide | | Item Dimensions | 5 x 5 x 5 inches | | Item Type Name | Rock Tumbler Polishing Grits | | Item Weight | 1 Pounds | | Item dimensions L x W x H | 5 x 5 x 5 inches | | Manufacturer | KomeStone | | Material | Aluminum Oxide | | Material Type | Aluminum Oxide | | Number of Items | 4 | | Part Number | KS1225PG63 | ## Product Details - **Brand:** KomeStone - **Grit Material:** Aluminum Oxide - **Grit Type:** 8000 - **Item dimensions L x W x H:** 5 x 5 x 5 inches - **Material:** Aluminum Oxide ## Images ![Rock Tumbler Grit - 8000 Grit Aluminum Oxide Polish for Final Step 5, Ultra-F... - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71TyncnAHqL.jpg) ![Rock Tumbler Grit - 8000 Grit Aluminum Oxide Polish for Final Step 5, Ultra-F... - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/812V46XvaIL.jpg) ![Rock Tumbler Grit - 8000 Grit Aluminum Oxide Polish for Final Step 5, Ultra-F... - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81snzrgDs7L.jpg) ![Rock Tumbler Grit - 8000 Grit Aluminum Oxide Polish for Final Step 5, Ultra-F... - Image 4](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81u66w1ZziL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Color** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finishing polish for rocks *by A***R on May 10, 2026* Additional polish for tumbler to finish rocks.
