It did seem so much of an indulgence and totally wasted, you get that right..?!But, it has, much to my relief and surprise, been an amazing buy.Please see photos.Using this with the headset, that comes with one battery, has totally extended the use to last for much longer.When we have family visiting, and our grandchildren like to use the headset. Having a spare battery is a must. Just hot swapping over and then placing the used one on charge is great to allow them to paly much longer, understand ing the headset also has its own battery.You will note a button on the top of these. Press once to turn on the battery, it will auto do this when attached. Press twice, quickly, and it will then power off. The LED's will reflect that. As the LED's also reflect the remaining charge.There is no buzzing from the headset when these are in use.Very much worth it and totally not an indulgence, lol.Happy gaming.EDIT:12 months on......for the past few months there has been noted a very striking difference between the original battery that came with the headset and then this spare battery I bought. I had marked each up when purchased.The original is fine, works as expected.This battery, intended to be swapped over for the original to be charged, is VERY poor. It takes a very long time to charge, it does not keep that charge as well and, please see my latest phot that I have added, the headset will complain that it is being charged slowly. In fact it will run out of charge whilst this battery is in use.Swapping back to the original battery that came with the headset, all is well.
