In this suit I am protected. In triple digit temperatures it can be a little warm, but then, in triple digit temperatures, it's already quite warm. The suit is lightweight. I like the tight cuffs on the sleeves and pant legs. It comes with mesh mittens, but I've never used them as I am always wearing gardening gloves, but they would come in handy when hiking. Many years ago I was hiking in Acadia National Park and the black flies were so vicious I had to put on my gore-tex rain pants to protect myself. Now THAT'S hot. I found the obstructed vision to be very annoying while weed whacking, etc and was sweating profusely after just a few moments and couldn't wait to take it off.
