Has a learning curve to use well. *by E***N on May 28, 2020* The first thing I discovered on trying this saw out is that it's heavy and somewhat unwieldy for sideways or diagonal cuts. Not unsurprising, but it takes some getting used to. As with other reviewers, I found that cutting pork rib bones worked best on the back stroke at the beginning, simply because it's so sharp, you can't make progress on the forward stroke until there's a little bit of flat surface for the teeth to glide on. The other reviewers didn't mention that you have to secure the piece REALLY well or you risk your hands and fingers. I literally put the ribs in a vise to cut them. It will surely work best if you have a thigh of a beast that you can cut vertically rather than something like ribs that are too small for this big saw.
