The Positives > The capsules are easy to swallow, which is important for someone like me that dislikes popping pills at the best of times. > There's no unpleasant aftertaste, and the capsules settled well on my stomach. I'm happy to report that I didn't experience any bloating, gas, or stomach cramping, which can sometimes be a concern with fibre supplements. > I was very impressed with the packaging! The cardboard protector, amber glass jar, and tin lid are all fully recyclable, which demonstrates CLAV’s commitment to reducing its environmental impact. It shows a willingness to go beyond just selling a product while also being able to consider the environmental consequences of their business practices. I haven't been taking this product for a long enough time to say definitively whether it's significantly impacting my digestion, but so far it seems to be tolerated well and is a good way to get additional soluble fibre into my diet. There isn't much information available about the long-term effects of the added fennel and caraway extract, and I would have liked to see some independent verification of the claims made by the manufacturer. The Verdict Overall, I've had a very positive experience with these Psyllium Husk capsules so far. The packaging is excellent, the capsules are easy to take, and I haven't experienced any negative side effects at all. While the long-term effects of the fennel and caraway extract are unclear, it seems like a good way to increase my fibre intake. However, the lack of information about the additional ingredients is a bit of a drawback, but even so, I really like this formula. If you're looking for a well-packaged, easy-to-take psyllium husk supplement, this is a good option, I feel. But, be sure to do your own research on the added ingredients, especially if you have any underlying health conditions. All said, I’d highly recommend these capsules - sehr gut!
