The instructions on the side label however are completely wrong. And that sucks because it could put people off when they try and end up with a mess. So if you buy this alcohol all you need is a fragrance oil to add to this a good rule of thumb is 20% fragrance oil to alcohol. You do not add a carrier oil you do not add water. The fragrance will develop over two weeks but will be fine to use after 3 days. You can make perfume oil in a similar way. If you add water it will go cloudy. Water is used in very small amounts in perfume making so that it’s more gentle on the skin and can help the fragrance. But I wouldn’t recommend it especially not at beginner level.
