**Q: Can I use this to bread chicken?**
A: Great question, I have dabbled with breading chicken and pork, and even tofu.  There is a great Korean Market Fried Chicken recipe from Maangchi using kinako powder:  https://www.maangchi.com/recipe/sijang-tongdak. 
I also used just the kinako powder as breading, and it works just like flour.  Make sure you put in a bit of salt or savory seasoning, otherwise it will taste too sweet.  Hope this helps.

**Q: How long you can keep after opening?  Should I put it in the fridge?**
A: I've had it as long as 6 months in an airtight jar in the fridge. It seemed perfect. It may even last longer

This is my first try of Kinako - traditional roasted soybean powder - so I don't have anything to compare it with... but I love it! It has a very pleasant roasted flavor, is finely ground and mixes well with any food, smoothies, etc. - I especially like it in my overnight oats - and provides a dose of healthy protein and other nutrients. I wasn’t able to find this brand in my regular Asian market where I purchased it for years. To my surprise, I found it on Amazon. I’ve tried other brands of kinako, but their taste falls flat. The Shirakiku brand is a staple in my home and used especially at New Year’s. The powder is mixed with white sugar to coat warm mochi. Very good!
