Usually it’s excruciating for me to the point of literally crying, as if a hot fireplace poker is being dragged up the back of my thighs. The tech recommended 2 brands of numbing cream. I tried both and they barely took the egde off. With this Wellmate cream it goes on more like a moisturizer cream. The other brands were like a gel, that just sits on the skin. My legs get kind of dry in winter so I rubbed some in, let it absorb 10 mins then glopped some more on heavy. I wrapped my legs in plastic wrap and let it sit for an hour before my appointment. I could immediately feel the difference as I wiped the cream off my legs. My skin was truly numb. For once, the tech didn't have to keep stopping the treatment to put an ice pack on my legs. (That cryo from the laser device is just not enough!) I am so pleased with the results. I rarely write reviews but I knew I had to write one for this stuff. It’s amazing.
