    Choose a bigger size than you would normally expect to do

I would have been better to take a bigger size in these because I felt them distinctly short.  I bought them at a very good price (much more expensive now), so I took a pair of scissors to the front of them and they are now a rough version of open toe, into which I still struggle a bit to push my feet.
