It compresses with even just my calf on it. Not a bad ball but just not what I was looking for. I'll be seeking a more solid rubber ballThe double peanut ball was kind of surprising. It is solid rubber, durable and has a good weight to it. It does not slip on carpet. It gets those hard to reach places but it is a little too small to use on large muscles like quads, hamstrings and glutes. I use it on my back, feet and calves.Overall the blue ball is the winner here which was a pleasant surprise considering I was just focused on the black one. Overall 3 stars because the blue one is awesome and the black one kind sucks!
