## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does it have a mood light?**
A: No. The Verona has no mood light; the glow comes from the flames and the lit log bed. Choose from 9 flame colours and set the brightness to one of 5 levels.

**Q: Can I use the flames without the heat?**
A: Yes. The flames run on their own, using 5.5 W, so you can enjoy the fire all year. Switch on 1 kW or 2 kW of heat only when you want it.

**Q: Do I need a chimney or a flue?**
A: No. It plugs into a standard 13A socket. If you fit it into an existing fireplace with a chimney, the manual asks you to block the flue entrance first, for example with Rockwool.

**Q: Is it freestanding?**
A: No. It is an inset fire and must always be fixed to a mantel or wall: into a fire surround or a wall recess, or flat on the wall with the spacer supplied.

**Q: What's in the box?**
A: The fire with its fret and trim, the log set, black chips, the remote with 2 AAA batteries, wall plugs and screws, the wall spacer and the manual.
