This certainly does not take the place of modern medicine but may be able to keep you off the surgical table for a while. I do wish it was made with better materials. The pump bulb is pretty cheap, and the air bladders while well designed, they are made of thin cheap vinyl. For those of us needing more vigorous cervical traction, it needs to be made a little heavier but it does work.
