I didn't see the markings and it overflowed. ### ⭐ Short life span: Not Worth It! *by L***D on February 5, 2026* Initially, I liked this frother for temperature control as well as lots of froth, even though it's not easy to clean well. I had one electronic glitch which required multiple back and forths with customer service, but it was fixable, until two days ago. I was extremely careful to always keep the base away from water, so I don't know what caused it to suddenly emit a loud POP and short out with a terrible chemical smell, but it was dead. When I contacted Maestri, they said that since it had been 22 months, they would not replace it. It comes with a 12-month warranty, but they would "give" me an 18-month one. I spent $70 on this frother, and for that, it should last longer than not even 2 years. Fortunately, I had purchased the extended warranty through Amazon, and my claim seems to be going through quickly and easily. I will certainly not be buying another one from Maistri! I see they have dropped the price, maybe due to bad reviews.
