I bought a set of 6 in the early 70's, unfortunately some of the cane seats wore out & "someone" trashed them?** A: Yes they are. They are the new replicas of the original vintage chair they don't make anymore but they are authentic and will match the same dimensions. **Q: is it authentic?** A: I assume so. It's made in Italy by the Breuer Chair company. I had one in the 1970's and the one I bought recently seems the same.
