I originally got a beige fajitex faja in size medium from my surgeon in DR. I ordered this one in black. In comparison, I must say this definitely does not compress like that one. I have quite a few fajas, some from different brands, but this one is by far the most comfortable. However, I don't believe fajas should be this comfy, since they're supposed to compress. It is worth noting that my other fajas are beige, and I have heard that the black ones do not offer the same compression. I also get the feeling these may not be authentic fajitex products. Although I feel the Medium is too big, I will keep it to sleep in. I just ordered a small, which I think will fit me much better. The size chart is definitely off. I'm 180lbs 5'4 my measurements are 34-26-43, but my thighs are huge. The medium was so hard to close that I had to lay down on the bed and get my granddaughter to help me close the 1st notch. Once on, I was fine. My shape is similar to apple. I carry my weight from my belly up. It has a thong closure, so you can pee with it on. However, you would have to squat over the toilet so that you faja doesn't get wet or use a female urinal.Also, it takes about 10 minutes to get into it and close the clips. Plan ahead.Suggestion: If you want to wear as a girdle, order a size up.
