## Description

Prontosan Wound Gel provides long-lasting cleansing and decontamination of the wound bed between dressing changes. Contains unique combination of ingredients polyhexanide (PHMB) and betaine (antimicrobial). Prontosan Wound Gel is ideal for the various types of wounds. This gel is an effective barrier to reduce microbial penetration through the dressing. Prontosan also contains a hydrocolloid that supports the creation of an optimal moist environment for wound healing, thereby reducing the scar formation. Uses: For cleansing, moistening and decontamination of: ✔Chronic non-infected and infected wounds: vascular ulcers, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers, complex recalcitrant wounds, cavity wounds, dry wounds and difficult-to-access wounds.✔Acute non-infected and infected wounds: traumatic wounds such as lacerations, crush injuries. ✔Other Types of wounds: Postoperative wounds, Thermal and non-thermal burns (all degrees), Fistulas and abscesses.How to use: Prontosan Wound Gel should be copiously applied to the wound bed. Wound cavities and pockets should be filled with the gel. Dressings, gauzes, compresses, or other absorbent wound fillers can be moistened with it before the dressing is applied. The gel is compatible with all types of silicone foam dressing bandages to manage exudate. It may remain on the wound until the next dressing change. For optimal results, Prontosan Wound Irrigation Solution can be used for cleansing the wound before applying the gel.

Este producto me a salvado la vida,tenia dos heridas post quirúrgicas enormes y profundas que no curaban. Gracias a este producto combinado con gasas impregnadas en parafina,mas una gasa normal encima. Va genial para curas humedas. La verdad me a salvado la vida.
