**Q: One photo has paper towels hanging from the bottom. Does the string need untied and retied to hold a paper towel roll, or does that string detach?**
A: On one side, there is a big barrel button that slides in and out of a hole.  At first it may seem a little tricky, but the key is to have it vertically up and down to slide it in and out, then horizontal to stay in place.  No need to untie it.  I like mine so much, I ordered the rollup ones for my toiletries and other gear.  I am now ordering the 3 cube set.  Everything organizes nicely.

**Q: does it come with all utensils?**
A: No

**Q: When unzipped, can you detach the top half from the bottom half to hang separately?**
A: Nope, it’s all one piece

**Q: Is the construction strong enough for a cast iron pan?**
A: technically yes but it will hang funny since it doesn’t have internal supports. It will pucker forward when hanging in the open position.
