It worked immediately!My dog, a chihuahua named Binx that is turning 13 and just doesn’t care about the rules any longer. A once perfectly house broken pup. He just doesn’t give a damn any longer (frankly).We spend A LOT on area rugs and they just love the wool and sheep pelts A LOT. When a puppy is trained it is important that they never cross a boundary especially once older and wiser they tend to never go back especially with my breed.I thought about ordering a bigger size because I know it WORKS and still just might, yet I don’t need to because of its great durability, yet bigger would be more fun for my boy🌱For now here is a link for the 24" x 16" for a rewash able pad with elastic loops if you plan to use indoors:Pooch Pads Indoor Dog Potty Replacement Pad, 24" L X 16" W X .2" H, 24 INMobility Issues/Senior Dog:This grass is a lot more fun for him and great if your dog has mobility issues like Binx’s back legs that don't work so well. Sad that so many small breeds suffer from this issue.• 1 YEAR LATER OUTSTANDING FAUX GRASS MAT— I now keep this grass pad outside on a hard uncovered patio. I live in an unforgivingly hot/humid climate, along with thunderstorms/hurricanes, months of rain fall, etc and the Grass Pad is as perfect as the day I received it and more importantly my dog loves it indoors and outdoors. I not iced complaints about durability which is truly OUTSTANDING and completely disagree. One must have bigger/stronger breed as it is natural for them to scratch grass if not well trained. This is obviously best for small breeds and buyers complaining about bad quality is odd when they don’t consider the strength and habits of their breed if they are prone to destroying things depending their training and obedience. If they destroy furniture, toys, random thing around the house... Seriously, what should be expected? If you have a well trained dog this grass mat will last without change even in harsh elements. As you can see a year later (7 months outside) in pictured above newly updated.Tip: I use Fantastic all-purpose cleaner and spray and rise with a house and it has no odor.All in all FIVE STARSYou may also be thinking of buying “The Shark Tank” authentic grass that is $19.99 (as I last knew of) that has a long shipment period.It lasts about only two weeks.If you want to go that route just go buy a patch for $1 or less and have it immediately and save an absolute fortune with cardboard from your orders (same thing). I’ve tried it out from Home Depot exactly the same thing and asked for a cardboard box and had it immediately for a $1 and no waiting and I still much prefer this pad because my dog was in immediately happy with it and now even waits to use it outside. He cutely stands by the back door to let me know and I bring it in if I must step out without him and attach the perfect sized reusable pad underneath. The mat is falling apart and is making more of a mess than saving. Green strands are everywhere and the black backing is flaking off making a huge mess all around the mat.
