I used this liquid to restore the bottom plastic trim on 2003 expedition. I used a microfiber towel for application. Things got a little messy but it was well worth it in the end. I definitely recommend wearing gloves. The liquid is black in color not Clear. Until it completely dry be careful not to lean against a wet erea and transfer it onto your clothes. It has rained several times and the product is still holding up well. For very faded plastic i disagree that a little goes a long way. However 12oz bottle was enough to do the entire vehicle with some to spare.
