These fit the bill! I usually wear a size 14 or Large but, based on the reviews, I ordered an XL. I tried it on when I got it and it definitely seemed to be on the large size but figured, if nothing else, I could wear them around the house. So I washed them and they did shrink a little bit--not a lot, but enough to make me decide to stick with the XL. I am ordering a different color today. Pictures are after washing. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ These are wicked comfy, but they're a little bigger than I expected. *by E***N on Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2020* I normally wear a size 8/10 in jeans and I typically buy a large in sweatpants because I like my sweatpants to fit kind of loose. But based on the reviews, I ended up deciding to purchase the XL in the black pair with white stripes at the thigh area, and I'm somewhat regretting that decision. I could always return them and get the large instead, but I really don't feel like doing that LOL. Anyway, the waist fits perfectly fine, but I have a small waist so I did have to pull the strings a little tight. The hips fit really huge though. I have really wide hips and kind of a big butt, so I was pretty surprised by how these fit so loose around that area of my body. The rest of the pants down to my calf and ankles fit perfectly fine, but they did shrink REALLY easily in the wash. I washed on cold and then air-dried, so that's saying something. Also, do not do what I did and wash these with anything light in color. They bleed and stain white shirts!!! The material is nice for summer. I doubt they will be warm in Colorado's winters, though. They are comfortable and look nice. They're a bit large on me and are longer than expected (ordered a size small, normally a size small; 5'6", 100lbs, 23" waist, 35" hips) The elastic in the waist band seems to have folded and half and does not want to unfold. It is very tight compared to the fabric bunched up around the waist, and it also has a tendency to flip around inside the pants.
