These are the noodles that the majority of Chinese takeaways and restaurants use for chow mein. I used to have to buy 15kg boxes of them which was a pain to store. These small retail boxes are so much more convenient. Trust me if you have never tried them they will be a game changer for you. Best method is put in boiling water in pan for 3 minutes, then let sit for 2 minutes, drain and then rinse under cold water and lay flat on a tray to dry out for at least 20 minutes. Then for typical chow mein get yourself some MSG, salt, Lee kum Kee light and dark soy sauce, onions, spring onions and beansprouts and a pinch of white pepper and you will have the best chow mein

During lockdown I started perfecting Chinese dishes like restaurants do. These are the noodles that the majority of Chinese takeaways and restaurants use for chow mein. I used to have to buy 15kg boxes of them which was a pain to store. These small retail boxes are so much more convenient. Trust me if you have never tried them they will be a game changer for you. Best method is put in boiling water in pan for 3 minutes, then let sit for 2 minutes, drain and then rinse under cold water and lay flat on a tray to dry out for at least 20 minutes. Then for typical chow mein get yourself some MSG, salt, Lee kum Kee light and dark soy sauce, onions, spring onions and beansprouts and a pinch of white pepper and you will have the best chow mein
