The sequins covering the jacket and turn from blue to silver when swept over to either side (essentially you could change the color entirely if you have the patience to do so!). I typically wear a US size small and the size medium fit great (I have longer arms and the sleeves actually go to my wrists!).I paired mine with a silver sequin bikini (you can never have too many sequins on, right?) and since this jacket is lighter, I was able to wear it after the sun went down over my bikini and was not too hot or too cold. However, when I first tried it on, the sleeves in the jacket were so small, I couldn't even close my arms to give people hugs. Because I had no other outfit, I examined the coat, and discovered the lining on the sleeves was severely cut/sewn awkwardly small. I only figured this out near the start of the party, so I cut the lining in the sleeves. Once I did that, the jacket fit just fine. While not uncomfortable, it's a bit of a mess on the inside, and I'm sure that I can't wash it as the sequins have no protection.
