We go to the dog park where he rough-houses and runs around through the brush. This collar stood up to all of that, even when another dog yanked it off and it became a toy for a while, it still worked. I did find that this style of collar with the rubber tubing held up better to dog play than some of the other types with the clear plastic part to transfer the light. Very visible, battery lasts a good while, and the usb charging is SUPER convenient! Unfortunately, in the past month or so, the collar has started turning off on its own when my dog is just walking/jogging around on his own. It'll turn itself off and then back on again when he's romping with his friends. Something in the electronics has gotten loose and is shorting, but there is no screw to take out and open the collar up to see.
