## Description

Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler is the go-to product for strong, durable repairs on cracks, gouges and holes. The unique formula is easy to spread allowing for a smooth, natural finish. Its high performance stainability, paintability, and sandability provides you with a professional looking finished project!•Strong & Durable Repairs on Cracks, Gouges and Holes•Smooth Natural Finish: Easy to Spread•High Performance Stainability & Paintability•Shrink & Crack Resistant•Anchors Nails & Screws •Sandable - Works with High Speed Sanders•Interior/ Exterior*•Water Resistant*•MoldablePREPARATION: Clean and dry surface of dirt, dust and foreign material. Surface, filler & air temp should be above 40°. FILLING: Squeeze tube and apply to area with putty knife. Press the filler firmly in place. Remove excess. Large/deep holes may need an extra filling. SANDING: Allow to dry approx. 1 hour for shallow fills & 2-6 hours for deeper holes. Use medium sandpaper. FINISHING: Before filling, test stain on scrap wood with filler. May be painted with latex or oil based paints CLEAN-UP: Remove all excess residue with a damp cloth before the filler dries. Use soap and water to clean hands and tools before material dries. Reseal tightly with cap after each use.*For outdoor use, coat with exterior paint. Not recommended for continuous water submersion.

**Q: Can you screw into this after it dries?**
A: Yes.

**Q: How does this compare to Elmer's Wood Filler in your experience?**
A: To be honest, I prefer Elmer's because it is easier to work with. Gorilla works well but, it is a thick mixture that has to be pushed into all the cracks.

**Q: How does this compare to Kwik Wood?**
A: Kwik wood is a putty, I believe.
Gorilla glue is a thick liquid like Elmer's glue so it fills the wood cracks or gaps easier. Of course, this only my opinion.

**Q: Is it advisable to prime the wood filler before painting over it?**
A: Priming is not required. Gorilla Wood Filler works with both latex and oil-based paints and stains. Multiple coats may be needed to ensure color match. I picked up the Gorilla All Purpose Wood Filler (6 oz, Natural Color) to patch up some small gouges in my outdoor deck and a few dents in indoor trim. It’s been a solid performer across both jobs. ✅ Pros: Water Resistant: Held up well on my outdoor repairs—even after a few rainy days, no swelling or cracking. Smooth Application: The filler spreads easily and doesn’t clump, making it beginner-friendly. Fast Drying: Sets quickly, which is great when you’re trying to knock out a project in one afternoon. Paintable & Sandable: Once dry, it sands down nicely and takes paint without any weird texture issues. Natural Color: The neutral tone blends well with most wood types if you’re not painting over it. ⚠️ Cons: Small Tube Size: The 6 oz tube is fine for touch-ups, but you’ll need more for larger repairs. Nozzle very hard to press Dry time- Takes atleast 24 hours to dry completely Thick Consistency: While it fills gaps well, it can be a bit stiff to squeeze out—especially in cooler temps. Nozzle Control: The tube tip could use a finer point for precision work on narrow cracks or trim. 🧾 Bottom Line: A dependable wood filler for everyday fixes.
