As soon as it arrived I installed it and we took a trip from Oklahoma to Louisiana and then to Texas and back home. As far as my mpg’s before I installed it, it was about the same, maybe a little better(1mpg if that) but I like staying in v8 mode. So far it’s been great. Looking forward to the long term benefits. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Works as Advertised *by T***N on March 30, 2026* It took longer to open the box than to plug in the disabler and start protecting my 2016 chevy truck 5.3L engine. Prior to installation, I could monitor the number of times my engine was switching from 8 cylinder to 4 cylinder (it was often) and now it is completely locked into 8 cylinder. It's easy to use and nothing to think about now. No manual transmission shift to block the AFM system from working. Just put the truck in Drive and go. Less than $200 spent to potentially save $5000+. A good investment in my book.
