Not absolutely sure.It certainly looks treated.Ive had mine a year and it went through last Winter’s dreadful weather just fine with no ill effects.Solid construction. **Q: What are the table dimensions?** A: The feeding platform height is 130 cm, which will help prevent cat predation. The feeding area is approx. 12 inches square **Q: Can the feeder be fixed to an existing base?** A: I guess that would depend on the size of the base. The actual feeding station is 12(or 13?) inches square. **Q: Can pigeons and other large birds access the roofed feeding area, or is this only for smaller birds?** A: No all birds I've even had sparrow Hawks on mine the pigeon just kick the food of the squirrels and magpies sit in it to eat hope this is useful I do have woods at the back of me so have a large array of birds feeding of mine. Nice and tall too but more importantly, easy to clean with the slide-out base. Yes it has taken the birds a couple of days to get used to the shiny plastic surface, but so far this has also kept the crows off (!) and the wood pigeons (!!)Fairly easy to build, although due to slight misalignment one of the feet is a little shorter than the others so it rocks a little on the flat, but hasn't blown over in the past few days in the srong winds. Very pleased with purchase, would recommend. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars RSPB Gothic Bird Table *by H***N on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 16 February 2014* This is a good, sturdy product: it took me a couple of hours to assemble, but then I take the slow but sure approach. There are reasons that I have docked one star - firstly the lovely coloured roof is now plain, the rain having washed off whatever was applied to colour it; secondly, when I first assembled it, one side of the base structure lifted up, presumably to allow the plastic base to slide out. The wet weather has caused all the wood to swell so that no longer works. Thirdly, as noted from another customer review, I think I would have to unscrew side supports to remove this plate anyway. Enough of the niggles, this is a lovely, large structure, big enough to allow a couple of small hooks to be attached to the inside of the roof to hold a couple of feeders, very useful for keeping bird food dry in the recent downpours. In spite of competition from a very large hedge I now get a lot of feathered visitors to my new table (and I can't wait to repaint it when the Spring comes). ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Well designed quality table *by J***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 29 August 2014* Bought this for my wife's birthday and had to put it together quite quickly to keep it secret. This was no problem - it assembled easily, is good and solid and looks well in the flowerbed. Most important of all, the birds are happy with it. The overhanging roof means the pigeons can't land on the table and monopolise the feed.
