A: There is no helper handle on the 12 inch pan.

**Q: Can you use metal utensils to cook with this pan?**
A: No, Use Wood/Bamboo or the Silicone / Plastic made for Non Stick cookware. Metal will scratch it and make the coating useless. They are great pans, have 3 and they are the best we have ever owned.
