One set of parents refused all vaccines, and continues to do so. The other parent (a single parent) gets most of them. When I did some research, I found out that throughout childhood the CDC 's recommended vaccine schedule is over 80 vaccines! Compare this to when my children were small, there was only about 3 or 4. Dr. Thomas is not anti vaccine, he is for parental informed consent. This means parents are informed of the risks of a particular vaccine, and also the risks when it is not taken. Then the parents decide. This is how it should be. But most doctors today just go by the CDC's schedule of vaccines, which by the way, has not been tested! Many, or most, doctors today aren't aware of the harmful adverse affects of vaccines, especially over time. In medical school, they are taught to just go along with what the CDC says. They aren't even shown what's in the vaccines! I highly recommend this book to parents, would be parents, and older adults as well because he gives information about vaccines recommended for adults too. All his information is data gathered by him throughout his 30+ years of being a practicing pediatrician. He has references he has used from other sources too, which he lists in the back of the book. This book can be read from beginning to end, or you can skip around because each chapter can stand alone. I couldn't put it down. So informative. Vaccines are all about profit for the CDC and big Pharma. Many are given even when the risk of the disease is no longer present. The Hep B vaccine is given to newborns, even though it is only spread by dirty needles, having sexual partners, or through the mother if she has it. And hospitals check all mothers for it and give them the vaccine. So why would a newborn need it? It's about following the money trail. I highly commend Dr. Thomas for speaking out on what he has found. Shame on big pharma, the CDC, and all the other businesses who make a profit from vaccinating our precious children. They don't deal with the consequences, we do! Autism, ADHD, respiratory problems, and the list goes on of diseases that have skyrocketed since in 1986 the National Childhood Vaccine Injury Act was passed that gave all pharmaceutical companies immunity from accountability and responsibility for any adverse results from their so called vaccines. Right after that an explosion of vaccines started being produced and recommended by the CDC, which is, in Dr. Thomas' opinion, only interested in creating repeat customers. I could go on and on, but read this book for yourself. Once you become aware of what's really going on, you cannot un know it Dr. Paul, as he likes to be called, is on you tube also, you can listen to his message.
