I was a little jealous when I saw friends tumblers had a handle but I found a stretchy strap that will fit around mine that has a nice hand strap on it. It is easier to carry than the handle would be. When full the tumbler is a little heavy and often I am carrying more than one thing and I like to hang the tumbler on my arm to have my hands free. I was pleasantly surprised at how long it keeps water cold. I fill it with ice once a day and keep refilling the water as needed. There is still ice in the tumbler at the end of the day. The straw is really strong. It does not flex but is comfortable for my mouth, no sharp edges. I liked my tumbler so much I got one for my husband. He likes his too. I have dropped or knocked over my tumbler at least twice and neither time did anything spil out of it. The instructions say if you use carbonated beverages it might leak around the straw so I have only used water (sometimes with lemon slices) in it and there has been no leakage.
