Measuring approximately 49 inches long and lined with ¼-inch thick felt, it features reinforced bottoms, adjustable straps, quick-release snap links, and durable hardware. Made in the USA, this rugged case blends authentic military heritage with practical, modern-day utility. ## Description An adjustable nylon case which opens part way down one side and is equipped with a strap and hardware for adjusting its length. it is designed to carry and protect individual and crew served infantry weapons when parachuting from aircraft into combat areas. Heavy duty rugged and tough case gr8 for collector or practical use. The parachutist’s individual weapons case is made of heavy duty nylon lined with ¼-inch thick felt or cloth, nylon 12.5 oz. lined in ¼-inch thick felt. The bottom of the case is reinforced on the inside with leather or inner reinforcement webbing. The case is closed at the side by means of a slide fastener thong and a snap fastener. The weapons case is equipped with a quick-release snap link and several metal loops that are all attached to the case by webbing chaps. The snap link is provided for accommodation of the quick-release snap-hook that secures the weapons case to the parachutist’s harness. The weapons case also has a webbing-adjusting strap; two tie down tapes, each of which is attached to a webbing tie-down loop; and a lowering line pocket. This is a Genuine Military weapons case.
