It does come with an insert to recommend when you insert a card, the magnetic strip to the card needs to be facing out, away from the phone. This is common sense, but remember this when you are pulling your card(s) in and out. There is a risk, but that isn’t unique to this wallet holder. I’m appreciative that the insert is included as it helped to remind me. I saw a few reviews that claim this item might be counterfeit. I have a few Kate Spade items and I don’t know what they are using to support said claims. The stamp is perfect, the quality is on par with Kate Spade and the feel doesn’t feel fake. I’ve had this for quite a while- over a year. I love it. It’s very cute and very convenient. I can keep two cards on each side. You can easily fit more than two but any more than two per side feels bulky to me. I hand it to my toddler nephew when he’s fussy and he throws it everywhere but my cards never come out.
