The Sealproof UL Type B Flexible, Nonmetallic Liquid-Tight Conduit resists corrosion, abrasion, oil, water, acid, metal shavings, and rough environments. Resists abuse, pull and crushing. Review: Excellent conduit and listed for direct burial. Used for added underground protection for Gasflex gas piping. I purchased the 1inch size conduit and the 3/4" Gasflex piping and using Super Lube 80320 Super Pull lubricant I was able to feed the gas piping into the conduit. The best part is that this conduit will accept the use of PVC conduit cement. I used the Oatey Gray Heavy-Duty Fast Set PVC Cement as the conduit has a loose fitting when glueing the rigid conduit fittings. Once the PVC cement was applied the fitting were rock solid after a couple of minutes. The conduit is nice since the inside walls are smooth allowing for easy wire and or tubing to be pulled. Over-all and excellent conduit.
Review: Recently I had to install a portable generator’s transfer switch. The location of the main breaker box made it a challenge to use the conventional PVC connectors. In addition the transfer switch came with a very short piece of 1” flexible conduit. Went to the local home center and after looking at the price for the flexible 1” conduit I decided to check at desertcart suppliers and found this seller. I placed tue purchase order. The product is as advertised. High quality craftsmanship. Very functional and easy to use. I was able to properly connect the transfer switch to the main breakers box. Prior to take on this project myself I did request an estimate from two local electricians and they quoted me $1200. I am very pleased with the final outcome. Now I have plenty of flexible conduit left to replace an aluminum conduit that is now rusty. I did save a significant amount of money. I highly recommend this product as well as the seller.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: The 1 inch diameter is that a 1 inch id inside diameter or a 1 inch od outside diameter?**
A: This conduit is 1 inch "electrical trade size".  The ID is approximately 1.05" and the OD is approximately 1.30".

**Q: Will 12-2 wire fit and can it be pulled through?**
A: Absolutely it will fit. You should use a snake to pull it though although you might be able to push it if you stretch the conduit straight enough.

**Q: Is this conduit compatible with other brands of "Liquidtight" products?**
A: yes

**Q: Can this be glued to ridgid pvc conduit fittings?**
A: You need to get screw on fittings/adaptors

I did an install on an ocean front property atop a roof. Waterproofing was high priority. I installed boxes at several locations to assist with distribution and pulls of 6 cables. My main mistake was although the conduit was flexible, pulling cables through bends was very difficult. I should have installed a pull box at every angle throughout the path. I do a plethora of network tasks, so cabling is yet another skill to develop. NET+ study for months, and pass an exam, and I'm crawling through attics... yay!
