Der Fachmann, der den Sitz mit den mitgelieferten (bravo!) Schrauben und Dübeln montiert hat, setzte sich anschließend zuversichtlich darauf. Er gab sein Körpergewicht mit 140 Kilo an. Nichts knirschte, knarzte oder gab nach. Die Hauptforderung an einen Duschsitz ist damit erfüllt. Das läßt den Rezensenten über kleine Macken der Lackierung und womögliche hygienische Bedenken in der Wandbefestigung hinwegsehen.

Den Sitz habe ich für meine 77-jährige Mutter gekauft. Er sieht sehr wertig aus und ist absolut stabil.Selbst bei einem Gewicht von 90kg hat man nicht das Gefühl, dass das Material überfordert ist.Allerdings muss man vor dem Kauf bedenken, dass die Sitzfläche sehr glatt ist. Vom Material vergleichbar einem Hochglanz-Toilettendeckel.Man sollte schon sehr stabil sitzen können und ausreichend Kraft in den Beinen haben, um sich gerade zu halten. Besonders wenn man eingeseift ist, ist es nicht ungefährlich. Ich habe bei meiner Mutter eine Duschmatte mit Saugnäpfen zurecht geschnitten und auf dem Sitz befestigt. Er lässt sich trotzdem noch an die Wand klappen. Mit Duschmatte ist der Sitz perfekt.
