I ended up going with Adidas Copa Climalite, but these were one of the runner ups. Good cushioning through the whole sock. No slipping in the cleats. These did tend to have more fabric and be thicker than some others. It did not affect the fit in the cleat, but not sure if they would be warmer to wear - maybe they'd be good for cold weather? Although, they are breathable so I'm not sure. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Soft, thick material, stretchy, perfectly long *by P***P on September 24, 2018* I love the fit and feel of these socks. I have relatively large calf muscles from soccer and martial arts, and these socks fit over my calves great. I also like the length. I wear these socks over my shin guards (over my calves!), and fold the last few inches over so they are about an inch above the top of my shin guards, keeping them from becoming exposed during the game. I'm only 5' 10", but it is difficult to find soccer socks that are both long enough to do this, and stretchy enough to fit over my under socks, calves, and shin guards. Unfortunately many/most of the other soccer socks I purchased on Amazon won't allow me to wear them in this fashion, but these worked perfectly for the way I like to wear them. ### ⭐⭐ good design but needs tweaking in order to become your perfect pair of soccer socks *by M***. on June 16, 2018* I wanted to love these socks but they just miss the mark. It would be the perfect sock if it weren't for a few major issues. The material is decently soft, only barely bordering on rough and scratchy. Relatively comfortable to wear but they get snagged and pull very easily leaving visible damage to the material. They are too long. I'm of average height but these socks are probably the right length for someone who's over 6'4" and I don't know a lot of soccer plays that height. And that's even with folding them over at the top. I had to fold mine over so far that it covered the FONEX branding on the shin of the sock. The compression elements on the sock are all decent but here's the worst part: I have worn these socks maybe five or six times and there are huge holes in the bottom part of the heel. And I wasn't even using them to play soccer. They received only normal around-the-house wear and tear.
