It's not hard to do. After a little time you will see what is the right amount of time to leave it on before the wipe down. You might see a rainbow effect and or it's getting a little bit tacky. That's when it's time. The shine gets even a little better after a couple days. The best way I can describe the results is it looks like putting another coat of clear paint on it. Impressive shine and repels water, dirt and helps cleaning bugs off. If you do have some left over you can store it in the fridge. It lasted 6 weeks for me before I took it out and used it again.
