Review: Great replacement for regular plastic wheels from office chairs! - These roller wheels are a big improvement over the stock casters on my office chair. They roll smoothly, make almost no noise, and I don’t have to worry about scratches on my hardwood floors. Installation was fast and simple—just pulled the old ones out and snapped these in. The only downside is that they add a little extra height to the chair, so if you’re already at the top end of your desk setup you might notice the difference. Otherwise, they make the chair feel much smoother and easier to move around, and I’d still recommend them. For me the height was actually a benefit because the cylinder of my chair was making contact with the floor. After putting these wheels on, the dragging on the carpet stopped because the chair was raised about another 2 inches. Great double benefit!! Material quality seems fantastic as well and has held up for a few months so far.
