The lids are just a bit loose (I have bought 2 and they are both the same) though that will be fixed with a bit of tape inside the lid. Plus point - they hold more than the 50 slides quoted in description. There are 5 sections and one section holds 13 thick glass mounted slides or 18 thin plastic ones (Reflecta). So unless you have nothing but really thick glass ones you will be able to get more than 50 in. So, pleased with them but as I will need more I'd be even more pleased if the price could go down! Review: A Good buy if you can afford it. - Very sturdy but expensive. I am scanning all my slides to view on TV and these are a good way to store away the originals.
