Had to use a pen to get the car in gear till this arrived. Do, not, believe the videos that tell you it just comes right off. Lies, all of them. To see why the old one refuses to simply pull up, and off. Look into the new one, notice the metal pin. That U shaped pin is pressing into a slot on the shifters shaft. You need to either break, or find a way to get that bottom plastic piece to drop down to get at that clip. Once pried free the old shift knob will finally lift off. Simply slide this new one on with the button depressed. You'll hear a click, done. Pull up the leather boot reapply a new zip tie, and carefully put the surround back in place. Looks good once installed with a touch of difference in the color, and is of good quality. Was a fair price compared to what the dealership quoted me.
