I didn't pay attention to the location of the drain as well as I should have. My fault. I had new quartz countertops installed and wanted the drain on the left to match the location of the disposal. The installer caught that. It all worked out with a couple of plumbing changes. It is a very heavy sink, which is what I wanted. It looks great with the new countertops. The accessories are nice. The rack across the top is handy for letting things dry. It rolls up to get out of the way. The rack on the bottom of the sink is nice because it protects the surface from dings, etc. and allows particles to drain away.
