While the boots look great (got many compliments), my feet hurt after having them on all day for the wedding and reception. I thought maybe it was because I wasn't used to wearing boots. Okay, understandable. I decided to put on the boots for work one day and after a couple of hours my feet were really hurting again. I sat at my desk, took off a boot and looked inside - I could see that the insole had impressions in it from underneath. I dig out the insole and was extremely disappointed in the paper-thin excuse of foam that was used for the insole. I also noticed that I could feel my finger inside the boots from outside the sole. As you can see in the picture the rubber sole is so thin that you can fold it in half. If you need boots just for the look then these will work, but I recommend you get some cushioned insoles and spare your feet the misery. The upper part of the boot is not leather, and is instead some type of "leather-look foam".
