The offset handles make it much more comfortable to use and align the wire into the terminal. There is a manual release so the crimper can be opened without having to render the terminal useless.I use crimp on [faston] terminals quite frequently and it seems to take less 'grip strength' than my other ratchet crimper in order to make a solid connection.
