Review: Got this for my son as he is getting into D&D. Overall the characters are solid. I only dropped a star simply because they lack that little detail i'm used to from my Warhammer figures. That said they are not Warhammer priced and they are still VERY good and I would buy them again. Certainly a lot of variety in the pieces and ideal for D&D games or even if you wanted to add some additional characters in your Warhammer game to perhaps fill a village or something.

**Q: What material are these miniatures made of?**
A: Semi-Hard PVC plastic. Looks and feels great compared to typical soft PVC used by many other brands.

**Q: Are these unprimed? And should I prime them before painting.**
A: These are not primed. We do recommend priming the minis -- it will make it increase the ease of paint application and the final appearance. We prefer any PVC plastic specific primer, especially that made by the brands Games Workshop and Army Painter

**Q: Who makes the miniatures?**
A: Wildspire Miniatures manufactures and owns these miniatures.

**Q: What size and scale are these? What does "28mm heroic scale" mean exactly?**
A: Our 28mm heroic scale means that every 28mm of miniature = approx 5'6" in real life size. "Heroic scale" is slightly larger than true 28mm scale and exaggerates certain features for easy-to-paint miniatures with clear details.

Got this for my son as he is getting into D&D. Overall the characters are solid. I only dropped a star simply because they lack that little detail i'm used to from my Warhammer figures. That said they are not Warhammer priced and they are still VERY good and I would buy them again. Certainly a lot of variety in the pieces and ideal for D&D games or even if you wanted to add some additional characters in your Warhammer game to perhaps fill a village or something.

Great set of budget miniatures. I am using these for the 9th edition of Wiz-War. Paint up nicely once they have been primed. Example pic of 3 I have painted for the review - very pleased with this purchase and recommend.
