There are some youtube showing it's difference. I was so happy I made a decision and bought this instrument for me and my daughter to learn saxophone. ( my daughter playing trumpet for 5 years and she want to learn one more instrument). Yes, I a lot of teacher they prefer the best of the best and they don't want the kids to give up so easily and the store they won't fix it if it is broken. saxophone can't tune there nothing to tune normally, I don't buy a Yamaha because it is expensive and I also don't want to fix it if my daughter breaks it. I can buy a new one or reconsider to buy a Yamaha and what price of Yamaha I wish to buy. $2000 or $5000. Just as an addition reminder, the one I brought is a E flat, so you never able to get an C tone if you play a C tone, you need to play a A tone. I hope this is not the reason some people comment it is out of tune. Hope you enjoy the world of music, a $300 instrument at most you only make a $300 mistake but the a thousand, I think! **Q: i am an adult looking to purchase this saxophone. does any adults have experience playing and living this instrument?** A: I recently bought this saxophone I'm 41 years old and a professional musician While there are better saxophones our there (including with a 10x price tag!) this saxophone is an excellent investment. The saxophone is a little full-bodies for me but aside from that it's wonderful. The only problem I have with this saxophone is the right hand palm keys are a little too far back for me. I have to completely readjust my hand every time I need to use tge palm keys to do a flutter or trill. Another problem is the left hand palm keys are quite sharp and dig into my hand at times when I use them. A word about the tone...it's very dark and full-bodied which for me is a problem as I prefer my alto to sing with fire and brilliance by the bucket load! I switch between an ARB metal 6 and a Vandoren Jumbo Java A45. While the time I get is nice I still don't get the bright tone or edginess that I get on my 1940s Evette Schaeffer. It's a wonderful saxophone for the money and should last for years to carry anyone well into their professional career (if that's what you're after). **Q: what is the weight of the saxophone with the bag** A: sorry it took me long to answer it is about 10 to 15 pounds, its really light. I used to ride my bike, run, walk for 30 minutes to my practice sections and it wasn't heavy. Now the regular saxophone strap is for masochist, so just buy a neotech strap. **Q: Can this instrument be repaired?** A: Probably... It seems to be a very well built instrument.
