He is very picky and doesn't like things that won't last long (non-heavy-duty). He was a bit skeptical at first, but he liked the pockets and the space (18in). He has not tried the latch quality, but I don't recommend putting a lot of heavy tools in the bag and carrying them with the strap. The quality of the cloth feels pretty sturdy and heavy-duty.
