This orchid tree too develops leaves in the shape of a camel toe. Within its natural habitat, the plant attains a height of 10-12 metres. Grown in a pot or tub, the height is, however, controllable. Numerous, about 12 cm large, white flowers appear from January to May, which sometimes still show during summer. The flowers emit a light, pleasant fragrance. Origin: The white orchid tree is a native of India. Propagation: Overflow the seeds with hot water and leave them to soak in the water at room temperature for 12 hours. Press them into moist cultivation soil afterwards and keep evenly moist. At 22°-28°C, the seeds germinat after 8-20 days.
