Upon receiving it was puffy felt dry out the package. I could also tell the hair had some longer strands that I'd need to trim which I did. No bad smell either. I washed & conditioned. I allowed it to completely dry. The end results are the pics I included. The hair came out soft & has a nice wave pattern to it. I didn't experience any shedding from running my hands through it. As another reviewer said; this unit is no more than 16 inches long. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5. Due to me having to trim a few ends & the length being off. I'm happy with unit. Love the pattern,feel & she's light as a feather!
