Silicone free and low dusting. Cut: 5 Degree of gloss: 5 If necessary, sand the paintwork beforehand with a P1500 grit (or finer). Use a variable-speed rotary polisher with Foam Pad hard (04931000) or Foam pad medium (04930000). Machines can be tilted slightly at the beginning. As it is worked (by hand or machine) the particle size gets smaller, and it goes from cutting to polishing the paint, or whatever is being polished. It really depends on what level of gloss you want. This brought my car's paint to a mirror shine, which I finished with a carnauba wax for protection. You can read a dollar bill in the reflection of the paint. I believe Sonax makes even finer polishes for those who desire that. One pass using a DA and this product gave excellent result and removed 90% of swirl marks (it’s not gong to remove deep scratches). I didn’t have time to do multiple passes so was looking for a product that could do one pass. If you have lots of swirl marks and want quick result (it still took 4-5 hours to do the full car) I would definitely recommend this.
