After two weeks it stopped working, swapped plugs and found it was that so I contacted the supplier who sent me the link for a new plug. The replacement has a different fitting so of no use and after several emails back and forth they finally sent me a link for a plug I could use but a different make and promised that the guarantee would still be valid. Problem solved! But now four months on it has stopped working yet again, this time it seems to be the pump. Looking at Amazon I found a replacement pump but it also has a different connector! so I would have to also replace the plug at a cost of £19 for both. Contacting customer services is by email and after last time I have neither the time or inclination to do so again.
