It was one of the few options I found that had a manual noise canceling setting and explicitly advertised phone compatibility. It did record when plugged into my iPhone, but none of the settings (noise cancelling, gain, reverb) worked. It sounded worse than my built in mic. I thought it was defective and ordered a replacement, and had the same issue. I then tried it on my laptop and the settings worked. It actually sounded really good with noise cancelling. It’s a really promising product and awesome value for what it can deliver, but there seem to be some compatibility issues, and I think they need to address that and/or make it clearer that this may not work 100% when plugged into a phone. Update: The manufacturer reached out to me and worked with me to resolve the issues I was having. Solid product and exceptional customer service.
