This antenna slides onto a 1 inch pipe vs Shakespeare VHF mounting options.The good news is that the Shakespeare as 12 inch pipe extender will slide into the base of the antenna. But beware that in spite of me speaking with the USA office, they did not mention that the threaded length on the pipe is not long enough. So I had a machine shop turn down the shoulder to 1 inch diameter in order to fully seat the pipe. You can also just use a 1 inch Diameter pipe but I wanted to use the standard Shakespeare ratchet base which uses threaded SS extenders. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the wait! *by K***N on Reviewed in the United States on September 28, 2020* Because of the virus shutdowns this product took awhile to be available. I purchased their mount also. Once I received one the installation was straight forward and relatively simple. Even with having to climb the mast it only took an hour to get everything done. It came with all the bits and pieces needed. After doing a channel discovery I was very happy to see all the channels found. The picture quality is great.
